About the Role

We are on the hunt for an adaptable Office Manager with a high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.  Broadly speaking the role will be responsible for Office Management, Customer Service and Print Management, therefore, adaptability will be a key characteristic for the successful candidate.

Our client is a well-established print and design business operating across the west of Scotland and beyond.  With a wide portfolio of customers and a unique selling proposition, they are keen to bring new talent into the team to support the growth of the business, particularly within the booming hospitality sector.  The work environment is professional, friendly and relaxed with great offices right in the heart of Glasgow city-centre.  As Office Manager, you will report directly to the business owner providing your knowledge and expertise as required to boost the wider social media profile of the firm.

About the Job

The purpose of this Office Manager job, will be to provide administrative expertise to a small team in the Glasgow office, ranging from email management, invoice generation and processing payments to managing phone lines, speaking to drop-in customers and answering queries.  The key focus will be Office Management and Customer Service, but there will also be a requirement to support the Print Management activities of the business, which may include finishing jobs, cutting, binding, packing and ordering stock.

About the Person

To succeed in this role as Office Manager, you will need to balance a variety of different tasks and prioritise effectively.  You will also have a clear focus on high-quality service to external and internal stakeholders.  As a natural forward planner, you will be to identify and deal with potential issues quickly and effectively through good organisational and excellent communication skills.  Given the variety of different tasks you will be expected to undertake, your adaptability, positive outlook will be important attributes as will your competence in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet applications.
