Naval Instructor – Electricians Mate 

About the Role

We are searching for a skilled Naval Instructor to join our high-profile client in the defence sector based in the Middle East. The primary purpose of this role is to provide training to Naval Students in the maintenance and operation of their ships and military equipment. As a Naval Instructor, you will deliver training specific to the role of Electrician’s Mate. Specifically, you will train installation, operation, adjustment, routine maintenance, inspection, test and repair of electrical equipment.

Requirements

You are likely to be considered a suitable candidate for this role if you have the following:

• Graduate of an advanced military trade school or industry equivalent.
• Previous experience in the role of Electrician’s Mate.
• Expertise in the operation, maintenance, inspection, test and repair of ship’s electrical equipment.
• Have recent instructional experience (ideally within the last 2 years) and have completed an accredited Instructional Techniques course.
• Have completed a FACET Train The Trainer course.

This Naval Instructor opportunity offers an attractive tax-free package inclusive of the following:

• Circa £40k basic salary.
• Pension allowance (9%).
