Marketing Executive (Part-Time)
£22k to £25k (Pro-Rata)
About the Role
We are on the hunt for a talented Marketing Executive to support the senior management team in one of Glasgow’s most successful Print & Design businesses. This is a part-time position, which will oversee and develop marketing campaigns both digitally and by traditional means, to promote the products and services of the business. This role will be 20 to 24 hours per week depending on requirements.
About the Employer
Our client is a well-established print and design business operating across the west of Scotland and beyond. With a wide portfolio of customers and a unique selling proposition, they are keen to bring new talent into the team to boost the sales and marketing activity of the organisation, particularly within the booming hospitality sector. The work environment is professional, friendly and relaxed with great offices right in the heart of Glasgow city-centre. As Marketing Executive you will report directly to the business owner providing your knowledge and expertise as required to boost the wider social media profile of the firm.
About the Person
For this Marketing Executive position, it is essential that you can work well on your own initiative and be able to ‘get things done’. Given that your work will be visible to a far-reaching audience, it will be expected that you have excellent attention to detail and an ability to monitor trends and topics which might be of interest to your client base. As you might expect, for a role of this nature, your creative capabilities will be second to none as will your knowledge and experience with the usual social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This role might be particularly suitable for a parent returning to work and looking for reduced hours rather than a full-time job, but we are very open to considering candidates from all backgrounds. If you think you have what it takes, then let’s talk.
About the Job
Your primary responsibilities as Marketing Executive will be to build a wider social media presence for the client by writing and distributing a weekly client email, preparing ideas and completing a monthly blog and organising a quarterly newsletter. You will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the customer database to ensure the business is able to maximise the information available whilst remaining compliant with the relevant legal requirements including GDPR. The role will be challenging, but there is significant potential for you personally to make a difference when you bring your skills and experience to the table.
The salary for the Marketing Executive job is flexible depending on your skills and capabilities, but your expectations should be in the circa £22k to £25k (Pro-Rata) region. There is also the potential for a performance bonus depending on individual and company performance. If you have the relevant experience, drive to succeed and motivation to burn, then we want to hear from you. You can either send your CV with a brief covering letter to email@example.com or, alternatively, if you prefer an initial, confidential discussion then please contact Two Rivers at 0141 375 0541.
