An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Spa Manager to join our client at one of Scotland’s most picturesque locations on the West Coast. In this role you will lead your team of spa therapists in delivering the highest standard of service to this stunning hotel’s multitude of visitors.

The hotel boasts traditional character throughout each of its’ unique departments, from the impressive bar and restaurant to the scenic gardens and surrounding landscape.

About the Job

As Spa Manager it is your responsibility to provide leadership and operational support to your small team of spa therapists. Through your passion for spa therapy you will lead your team by example in delivering excellent customer service with friendly yet professional approach. Your department will operate in line with Health and Safety legislation for Spa and Leisure, and you will ensure staff are competent in health and safety procedures. It is your responsibility to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the spa area is kept to the highest standard, in order to maintain the highest level of service.

As Spa Manager you will use your expertise to drive sales of treatments as well as memberships and retail products. Your passion for Spa Therapy combined with your ‘’can do’’ attitude will motivate your team to deliver results. You will be responsible for maintaining stock and will undertake a stocktake on a monthly basis, ensuring the supply of products is maintained in line with business demands. Your role will also require you to undertake administrative duties such as finance reports, diary management, as well as the preparation of weekly staff rotas.

About the Person

To succeed in this role as Spa Manager, you will most likely hold an HND/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Spa/Beauty treatments. Further qualifications within the sector would be beneficial, although not necessary to succeed in your position of Spa Manager. You should be able to demonstrate at least 1 years’ experience working at supervisory level within a leisure environment. Administrative duties are inclusive of your job remit and you will be computer literate. It would also be beneficial that you have an understanding of financial reporting. You have a flexible approach to work and are friendly and polite in manner.
