About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our highly regarded client in the Scottish hospitality sector. Based in Perthshire, this role will have responsibility for the housekeeping of a 200-room hotel with a rich history and exciting plans for the future. The Housekeeping Supervisor role is a permanent position and will report to the Head Housekeeper and the Rooms Division Manager with the option for a short-term ‘live-in’ available.
With a highly capable team of 70 housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for a broad range of responsibilities including rotas, training, performance standards, ordering and stock control. Additionally, you will need to ensure that bedroom standards and public areas are managed effectively utilising the resources at your disposal.
About the Person
As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will place a high importance on the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel, ensuring that the department meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. To succeed in this role, it will be important that can demonstrate good communication skills, first-class attention to detail and an ability to work to exacting performance standards. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail orientated with previous experience working in a similar hospitality environment.
As you might imagine for a job of this nature, you will have a natural enthusiasm for great customer service with a friendly, but professional disposition. Given the size of the housekeeping operation in this hotel, you will need to be at the top of your game to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently. With the support of a great team, you will also be responsible for responding appropriately to requests and complaints from guests to ensure the customer experience is maintained to a high level.
The salary for the Housekeeping Supervisor position is circa £25k depending on experience, with the option of live-in or live-out for a short period of time.
