The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure a consistent approach in developing, supporting and delivering the Finance Strategy across the business.

About the Job
Your primary responsibilities as Finance Manager will be to contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritise and build organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes. If successful, you will also contribute to the financial management, control, consolidation and reporting of the projects within the delivery stream area of responsibility. You will be responsible for providing sound financial support and advice to the leadership and finance function, including financial modelling. As you would expect, you will have a key role to play in ensuring proper financial governance is maintained at all times, evaluating processes which are required to be robust, relevant and adequate.
To be successful in this role as Finance Manager, you don’t need to have previous experience working overseas, though it would be a distinct advantage, but it will be essential that you are able to maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers as well as ensuring financial management and assurance for all bids with the projects or delivery stream.
About the Person
To succeed in this position, you will most certainly need to possess a sense of adventure and, be able to demonstrate a high level of diplomacy and pragmatism. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with relevant Finance experience along with a proven track record of influencing stakeholders, driving performance and delivering a high-quality output. In addition, you will need to demonstrate an extensive knowledge and application of financial controls and corporate governance in a large, complex organisation.
The salary for the Finance Manager role is expected to be circa £45k-£65 tax free with a range of market leading benefits, which would include 3 x Business Class return flights per year, high quality accommodation provided free of charge, first-class primary care medical facilities as well as a range of excellent recreation facilities on a secure compound.
