About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and adaptable Finance & HR Business Partner with our highly respected legal firm based in Glasgow.  The hybrid role will report to the Business Support Manager in providing high-quality advice and guidance to an internal client base, crossing both Finance & HR functions.  This unique position will require the candidate to have a strong commercial focus with the ability to gain credibility at all levels from both a financial and people perspective.  At present, the role will be working from home as you would imagine, however, when things eventually get back to normal the client will consider flexible working arrangements.

As an experienced Finance & HR Business Partner, you will have a broad range of responsibilities including Management Accounts, Profit & Loss Reporting, Payroll as well as handling a variety of HR issues and enquiries.  Your HR responsibilities will include handling employment offers, contracts and inductions as well as dealing professionally with any disciplinary and grievance issues which arise.  If successful, you would also take the lead in providing appropriate advice and guidance to managers on a range of employment issues.

About the Person

As the ideal candidate, for the Finance & HR Business Partner position, you will most likely have a professional qualification in Accountancy or related discipline and a strong handle on the numbers and understanding of finance issues.  To succeed with the team, it will be important that have the knowledge, capability and personality to gain credibility from the outset.  If successful you can expect to work with a team that will make you feel welcome with a professional and friendly approach to doing business.  In many small to medium businesses, there is never any hiding place and it will be really important you can demonstrate your Finance & HR expertise through strong attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and problem-solving ability.  If you have a passion for numbers and equally adept in dealing with people then we are keen to hear from you.

The Reward

The rewards for this position will depend on experience, however, the role will include a package of circa £30k depending on experience.  You will also enjoy pension and training and development opportunities to complement your package.
