An excellent overseas job opportunity for ex-Military Aircrew has arisen in the Middle East with one of our key clients in the Aerospace & Defence sector.  We are searching for a highly skilled Electronic Warfare Instructor, to support the Typhoon Flying Programme for our customer-based in the Middle East.  In this role, you will be responsible for the instruction of Air Force personnel and Electronic Warfare students, and the development, production and presentation of classified and unclassified courseware using computer-based training, conventional teaching methods and the Advanced Electronic Combat Simulator (AECS).

Key Responsibilities

In this high impact role, you will be expected to use your extensive knowledge and training gained in electronic warfare within a highly pressurised military environment.  As the ideal candidate it is likely that you will be a graduate of a military or civilian training establishment and will be able to possess the required security assurances for the production of classified courseware as well as being ex-military aircrew (in exceptional circumstances, a suitably experienced Electronic Warfare Instructor may be recruited who is not ex-aircrew).  The Electronic Warfare Instructor must have extensive experience and a broad, up-to-date knowledge of electronic combat and its’ related technology. 

About the Person

To succeed in this role, it is important that you have experience in the practical application of the following;

  • Signals Intelligence and database operation
  • Procurement – operational requirements, trials and training
  • Engineering – radar/electro-optics
  • Fighter controlling (GCI/AWACS)
  • Application of active jamming
  • Suppression of enemy air defences
  • Electronic Warfare Ground/Air Training
