About the Job

We are searching for a highly skilled Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician, to support the Hawk Electrical Systems Shop for our customer based in the Middle East.  In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out aircraft electrical maintenance activities and supervising the training of assigned trainees and technicians to ensure required operational readiness is achieved.

Key Responsibilities

As Electrical Systems Technician you will support the overall day to day running of the Hawk aircraft Electrical/Environmental Shop. Your responsibilities will include preparation of items for calibration within the electrical shop and carrying out of TCTO’s/Special Inspections where required. You will use your thorough knowledge of Aircraft operations and Aircraft Safety area, to ensure good engineering practice and compliance with the customer’s Technical Orders. It is your responsibility as Electrical Systems Technician to monitor and report on all supply issues within the Electrical shop, and to provide functional guidance to the customer on any engineering issues that may arise.

As you would expect for a position of this nature, you will need to be able to demonstrate good cultural awareness and diplomacy to ensure that communications are crystal clear to maximise operational readiness and ensure safety critical issues are managed effectively and efficiently.


About the Person

You will most likely be an aircraft engineering graduate of a military school of technical training, or have a similar qualification in aircraft systems.  You are a quality minded individual with a thorough knowledge of Aircraft Safety Devices, who takes a proactive approach to aircraft maintenance support in your role as Electrical Systems Technician.

It would be a distinct advantage if you have previous experience of working as an Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician in a Middle East country.
