Our client has a portfolio of 30 well-known hotels based across the UK and Ireland. Popular venues for high profile visits, functions and events, the clients’ brand is one of the most well respected within the global hospitality industry.
In your role as Deputy General Manager you are responsible for the day to day running of the site. Excellent customer service is what the brand is built on and it is your job to oversee each department and ensure each part of the hotel is consistently delivering the highest standard of customer service. As the Deputy General Manager you will manage, lead and develop your team in order for them to perform at their best capacity. You will receive direct line reports from each departmental manager assigned to the functions of – restaurant, bar, spa, leisure, maintenance.
You will carry out health and safety audits to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations. You will be responsible for payroll as Deputy General Manager and for the effective management of all finances. You will use your expertise to see that all budget expenditure is effective throughout the hotel.
About the Person
The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced Deputy General Manager who has worked for leading luxury hotel brands. Your passion in delivering the highest quality service shines through your strong attention to detail. You are commercially aware and particularly competent in F&B / M&E.
