The role will be responsible for the repair of Aircraft Ground Equipment components in line with technical publications. About the Client
An exciting overseas job opportunity has arisen in the Middle East with one of our key clients in the aviation industry. We are searching for a skilled Auto Electrician to service and maintain a range of Ground Equipment for our high-profile customer in the aerospace and defence sector. Whilst previous experience working with aircraft ground equipment will be a distinct advantage, we will also consider skilled technicians with proven expertise and reliability from within the wider car and transport industries. We would be particularly interested in talking with you if you are a Mechanical Technician currently employed by a leading airline or car manufacturer.
About the Job
To succeed in this role, you must have a sound electrical aptitude combined with an ability to concentrate on tasks and think clearly under pressure. You will be responsible for carrying out unsupervised reactive maintenance repairs, fault finding, installation, servicing and testing across a broad range of equipment. commissioning to a broad range of services, plant and equipment. As you would expect there will be a strong focus for the Auto Electrician to work under strict policies and procedures to ensure the appropriate health and safety legislation is adhered to.
About the Person
The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced Auto Electrician currently operating within the car or vehicle manufacturing industry. If you are successful in applying for this role, we would expect you to have first class communication skills and be adaptable in handling different situations as they arise. You will need to be organised, good at planning priority actions as well as having a customer focus through identifying needs and responding with a sense of urgency when required. Further, we would expect you to be educated to ONC level or possess a recognised Electrical qualification or have relevant experience supported by formal, recorded workplace applied related training.
The rewards for this role are highly competitive and includes a highly competitive £235 daily rate along with flights, rent-free accommodation, medical and recreation facilities. This is a fantastic overseas career opportunity, with the potential of longer-term progression within the business.
